I'm so sorry to ask this. But is this method will affect my pc at all like deleting my app such as games, steam, video player, Nvidia drivers etc? And i also dont want to update my windows again because I have a capped data connection.
Hi, The apps that came with your PC or ones that you installed from Windows Store will be reinstalled, but any apps you installed from other websites and DVDs will be removed. You'll find a list of the removed apps on your desktop after refreshing your PC. Refresh also keeps the apps that came with your PC and the apps you installed from the Microsoft Store. Hi, I'm running out of options then so let's see if someone else has a better idea with regards to this issue. Time Lady Independent Advisor. Which Windows version are you running - , Or ? In reply to Time Lady's post on July 8, It seems as if an unsigned driver possibly via auto-update has broken the systems.
Note: August 13, was a patchday, and Microsoft later confirmed that an update disabled Bluetooth connections. The abbreviation a2dp stands for Advanced Audio Distribution Profile. This is a manufacturer-independent technology that allows stereo audio signals to be sent wirelessly via Bluetooth to an appropriate receiver. A distinction is made between sources transmitter, source and sinks receiver, sink.
The source can be a computer or a smartphone; a Bluetooth headset or loudspeaker set, for example, is used as a sink. In the above error pattern, the source in the form of the relevant profile on the Windows 10 computer throws the error. In the linked MS Answers forum thread some affected persons confirmed this issue. A de-installation and subsequent reinstallation of the Bluetooth drivers is unlikely to help. There are two ways to repair or replace the unsigned driver file with Windows The simplest solution is to try Windows 10's built-in troubleshooting.
To do this, open the Settings app from the Start menu and select the Update and Security — Troubleshoot categories. Then select the Bluetooth troubleshooter in the right part of the window and let it run. Maybe this fixes the error — in the forum thread linked above, some users have been successful with the troubleshooter.
What you should try in any case, if the troubleshooting does not help, is to run a system file check. To do this, open an administrative command prompt by choosing Run as administrator. In best case this finds damaged files and repairs them. This at least solved the problem for one user the signed driver was then written back.
There are also users who were successful with a driver update. Thanks for the article. I opened up a new Acer and my Bose bluetooth headphones would connect but my Bose Color Soundlink would not.
July 30, Having spent days 30 hours or so in total uninstalling and reinstalling Bluetooth drivers and trying all sorts of ideas found on the net, eventually solved my issue by uninstalling everything "Intel", including the onboard graphics driver which caused the screen to go black! After 15mins I got bored waiting and had to hard reboot, lol. That had me pretty worried for a bit but luckily there were no lasting effects for the computer.
After reinstalling the graphics, chipset and bluetooth drivers, I added my soundbar and instantly noticed the R-Click options had changed slightly. In the window that opened, a new "Listen to music" option appeared, and this worked first time.
So my advice, if your troubles persist, reinstall more than just the bluetooth drivers. And a final note, before the fix I could add my soundbar but couldn't connect to it. This means the bluetooth hardware was working enough to detect the things around that had bluetooth but it was the A2DP failed error that made me suspect a software issue.
